Blue Polyester is a set and costume designer, also known under her artistic alias Polly Blue.
Her real name is Rimma Elbert. She works hard and is both thoughtful and sensitive in her art.

Having lived in Ukraine, Germany (East and West), Austria, Switzerland, England and America it’s difficult to put her in a single box. Her designs are site specific, a subtle and often humorous part of the visual semiotic structure.

Art and Design are seen as experiments for communicating an inner feeling about a situation. Talking to people and making them understand is always difficult and frightening. But fear is never an option.

Whether we succeed or not is not important. It’s the way of searching which is striving. So come, come and let’s make some important work in here!
