The exhibition Lenin. Rethinking the Image was shown at Stadthalle as part of the 25. Filmfestival Cottbus 2015. It was a multimedia art contest where people from Russia, Poland and Germany could send their works in. Some people got chosen to exhibit. (me :D, hehe)

Here’s a quote of the curator’s idea:

“The idea of the CONTEST is to rethink the image of Lenin and introduce it using contemporary forms of art by the 145th Lenin’s anniversary in his native city of Ulyanovsk. The works for the CONTEST are accepted in electronic form in the following categories: «Video Art», «Sound Art», «Photography», «Illustration » and «Net Art ».

The CONTEST is available for the residents of Russia, Poland and Germany, who want to introduce their own vision of Lenin’s image in artistic forms.”
